According to the Danish regulations, shops may be open from Monday 6am to Saturday 5pm, but the general opening hours on weekdays are from 9.30/10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and 7/8 p.m. (Fridays).

All shops are allowed to stay open on the first sunday of the month, as well as on all the sundays preceding Christmas Eve in December. Moreover, shops must keep open from 10-20 on the last Saturday before Christmas. 

December 25 and 26 and January 1 are public holidays, but also on December 24 and 31, most shops are closed.
